Bio: Sexy Canadian star Natasha Henstridge had her sights set on a life of glamour and fame from her earliest years. Born in Springdale, Newfoundland, Natasha was raised in a trailer park in Fort McMurray, Alberta. At age 6, she embarrassed her mother in a drug store by pointing to a glamour magazine and saying she wanted to be on the cover someday. Natasha still recalls: "I was about 12 years old when I started getting boobs. I never tried to hide them because I started to realize the power I had with them." By age 13, her mother was tired of hearing 'I want to be a model, mom' and took the decision to enroll her daughter for a summer tryout at the John Casablanca Centre in Edmonton. She expected it to be a temporary thing, but Natasha got runner-up spot in a Look Of The Year contest. Her photos were sent to a New York agency and resulted in her winning an international contest that saw her parents reluctantly let Natasha move to Europe. Natasha Henstridge landed her first cover on French Cosmopolitan at just 15. A glittering modelling career followed for six years, including commercials for Lady Stetson and Oil of Olay, before her agent decided to send her out for movie auditions. Natasha's big movie debut came as the very sexy and revealing alien in Species. Henstridge won the MTV Movie award for "best kiss", for a scene in which her character, while kissing an aggressive would-be suitor, impales his head with her tongue. She's kept the acting rolling, not just with movie work, but plenty of TV appearances that include Outer Limits, Commander In Chief, She Spies and even a guest appearance on South Park.
